After the 49ers allowed the opposing Buccaneers to drive down and tie the game at 20 with a field goal with less than a minute to go, many may have expected this one to go to overtime, but San Francisco had different ideas. Taking over at their own 35-yard line, quarterback Brock Purdy completed four passes - two each to receivers Jauan Jennings and Ricky Pearsall - to move the team 39 yards down the field to the Tampa Bay 26. With three seconds left on the clock, kicker Jake Moody trotted out to try to win the game for the 49ers, and he delivered, sending the 49ers back to the west coast with a 23-20 win over Tampa Bay on Nov. 10, 2024.
