description

Perhaps foreshadowing what could be an explosive second season for the Chiefs in 2025, rookie receiver Xavier Worthy put together the best performance of his young NFL career in Super Bowl LIX against the Eagles. Catching eight passes for a career-high 157 yards, Worthy also caught a career-best two touchdown passes in this one, one on a diving effort back towards the ball from 24 yards out, and the second on a 50-yard bomb late in the game. Despite Worthy's contributions, the Chiefs would ultimately fall in this one, 40-22, on Feb. 9, 2025.
