Playing against the Texans in the Divisional Round, Mahomes put his sensational playmaking ability on full display on this third-and-goal play from the 11-yard line early in the fourth quarter, dancing around the pocket before flipping a pass towards the end zone as he was in the process of being brought to the turf. Remarkably, but unsurprisingly, the ball found his favorite target for six points, extending the Chiefs modest lead to eight once the extra point was kicked. Mahomes finished this one with 177 yards passing and one touchdown, managing the game effectively as he led the Chiefs to a 23-14 win over the Texans on Jan. 18, 2025, to advance to his seventh straight AFC Championship Game.
