With his team trailing in the fourth quarter, Daniels and the Commanders offense took advantage of the incredible field position gifted to them by their defense causing a turnover, with Daniels firing this go-ahead, five-yard touchdown to his star receiver despite the pass rush quickly closing in. Daniels threw for 268 yards and two touchdowns in this one, adding another 36 yards on the ground while playing turnover-free football, as the Commanders beat the Buccaneers on a last-second field goal, 23-20, on Jan. 12, 2025.
