description

When ink officially reached paper on the three-year that made D’Andre Swift the newest member of the Chicago Bears, performances akin to the one on Sept. 29, 2024 were precisely what both sides envisioned. Called upon for a big-time play with Chicago nursing a late two-point lead, the always-dynamic playmaker got decisive in picking a hole, ultimately leapfrogging a grounded Rams defender before zipping through traffic for a 36-yard, door-slamming touchdown. Both all-purpose and “all-problem” for Los Angeles’ defense in Week 4’s 24-18 prevailing, Swift totalled 16 carries for 93 yards and a score, and complemented it with seven receptions for 72 yards.
