Taking over the ball just shy of midfield down by a touchdown late, Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford knew that he had to pick up a big chunk of yardage in a hurry to give his team a chance to win. Droppping back to pass off play action on first down, Stafford launched a perfect deep ball down the field to his receiver, who settled underneath it and held on through contact for a gain of 50 yards that set the Rams up in a goal-to-go situation. Two plays later, they'd score the tying touchdown, and would go on to kick a game-winning field goal with just a few seconds left on the clock. Stafford threw for 221 yards and one touchdown in this one, leading Los Angeles to a 27-24 win over the 49ers on Sept. 22, 2024.
