Opening the season with a matchup against his former team, Lions quarterback Jared Goff had a bit of extra motivation to start off the 2024 season with a bang. On this third quarter play, Goff received the shotgun snap, dropped back, and then saw an open man deep down the left sideline. He fired a pass his way, hitting his man with plenty of open space to propel him into the end zone for a 52-yard score.
