Having already set a new record for total touchdowns in a season the previous week, Chargers running back LaDainian Tomlinson set his sights on the single-season rushing touchdown record as well. As fate would have it, he'd break the record on the longest run of his career, taking a handoff to the left side and outrunning the entire defense for an 85-yard score. Tomlinson racked up 199 yards and two touchdowns on the ground in this one, as the Chargers beat the Chiefs, 20-9, on Dec. 17, 2006.
