Trailing by four points in the fourth quarter against his former team, Chargers quarterback Doug Flutie dropped back to pass, was nearly brought down by a defender, and then escaped from the pocket to the left. He took off running and made his way to the end zone, diving across the goal line for what would prove to be the game-winning score. Flutie also threw for 254 yards and a touchdown in this one, as the Chargers beat the Bills, 27-24, on Oct. 28, 2001.
