Star rookie running back Clinton Portis had already made a massive impact for the Broncos throughout his debut season, but it was his performance in Week 15 that sealed his status as a superstar in the making. Carrying the ball a total of 21 times, he gashed the opposing Chiefs defense for 130 yards and three touchdowns, and also added three catches for 75 yards, including a 66-yard touchdown in the third quarter, which was his fourth total score of the day. Behind Portis' four touchdowns and 205 yards of total offense, the Broncos were victorious in this one, beating Kansas City 31-24 on Dec. 15, 2002.
