One of the best safeties of the 1980s, Chiefs star Deron Cherry came in on a blitz on this play, and despite being stymied in his attempt to get to the quarterback, found the ball coming his way after a teammate forced an errant pass. He hauled it in and took off towards the sideline, sprinting to the goal line for a 47-yard pick-six, marking his first trip to the end zone in his NFL career. Kansas City would ultimately fall in this one to the Steelers, however, losing 36-28 on Nov. 10, 1985.
