The previous record for rushing yards by one player in a single game had stood for more than 20 seasons, but on this October day in the 2000 NFL Season, Bengals running back Corey Dillon was about to rewrite the record books. Though his new mark would only stand for three seasons, Dillon proved to be unstoppable in this one, getting better and better as the game wore on, before finally breaking through for two long fourth-quarter rushing touchdowns of 65 and 41 yards, respectively. All told, Dillon tallied a record-breaking 278 yards on just 22 carries in this one, scoring twice, as Cincinnati beat the Broncos, 31-21, on Oct. 22, 2000.
