In the second half of a defensive battle between Detroit and Dallas, three-time Pro Bowl defensive lineman Robert Porcher made one of the key plays of the game. As the opposing quarterback stepped up to throw, Porcher broke free from his blocker, and made contact at just the right time to knock the ball free for a fumble. Though the Cowboys would recover it, the big loss crushed any offensive momentum and they would have to punt a few plays later. Porcher tallied five tackles, two sacks, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery in this one, stuffing the stat sheet while helping the Lions to a 9-7 win over the Cowboys on Nov. 3, 2002.
