Trailing by seven points in the fourth quarter and the opposing Saints lined up for a field goal attempt, the Dallas Cowboys desperately needed a big play to get back in the game. Enter Ed 'Too Tall' Jones, who lived up to his moniker in a big way on this play. As the kicker swung his leg to make the kick, Jones leaped up and reached as high as he could, and swatted the ball straight down to the turf. A fortuitous bounce sent the ball back in the other direction, and a Cowboys teammate managed to bobble and catch the ball over the Saints kick holder before running it back for a 62-yard score. The touchdown brought Dallas back within one, and a safety later in the game would ultimately give them the 21-20 win over the Saints in this matchup on Sept. 25, 1983.
