In only the second overtime game in Super Bowl history, Brock Purdy and the 49ers offense took the field first, and steadily began marching down the field. Purdy displayed poise and control throughout the drive, despite the immense pressure, completing passes to multiple different receivers to help get the team close enough to take the lead. Though they were stopped short of the end zone, Purdy's accurate arm and cool composure got them into field goal range, and they were able to put three points on the board to take the lead, while also giving their defense a ton of time to rest and reset. Ultimately, however, the 49ers would go on to fall to Kansas City in Super Bowl LVIII, 25-22, in this unforgettable game on Feb. 11, 2024.
