When the Super Bowl is on the line, anyone can step up and become a hero. With the Rams leading Super Bowl XXXIV by a touchdown and just seconds remaining on the clock, the opposing Titans had one last chance to try to tie the game or take the lead. St. Louis linebacker Mike Jones, however, had other plans. When a pass was thrown to a receiver trailing behind him, Jones changed directions on a dime, and dragged the receiver to the turf just shy of the goal line as the clock ran out, clinching the Super Bowl title for the Rams. Though Jones finished with six tackles in this one, none were more impactful than the one on the final play that clinched this 23-16 win for St. Louis on Jan. 30, 2000.
