The Chiefs were just nine yards away from scoring a go-ahead touchdown with under a minute to play. Sam Hubbard kept the Bengals fighting. After registering a sack on the previous play, he chased down Patrick Mahomes II here for another sack, even managing to strip the ball away from him. Though Kansas City recovered the fumble, it put the Chiefs outside the red zone and forced them to settle for a game-tying field goal. Cincinnati would go on to win in overtime, 27-24, in the AFC Championship Game on Jan. 30, 2022. Hubbard finished with eight total tackles, including two sacks, in the victory.
