For as gifted as the NFL’s greats are, there haven’t been many capable of consistently producing 30-yard runs and 30-yard receptions on the same drive; on Dec. 29, 2019, though, the history books made way for one in Deebo Samuel. Multifaceted enough to help guide San Francisco to Super Bowl LIV in just Year One, Samuel fused those traits flawlessly during Week 17’s nationally-televised heavyweight finale, ripping off two different 30-yard plays — and a touchdown — over a two-minute span. During a 26-21 triumph over the also-playoff-bound Seattle Seahawks, Samuel lived up to the “Deebo” nickname, overpowering the opposition through a five-catch, 102-yard effort, as well as two carries, 33 yards, and a score.
