By the end of 2020’s regular season, the NFL’s history books had — simply put — never seen a rookie receiving year quite like that of Justin Jefferson’s. The Minnesota superstar’s 1,400-yard, then-record-setting season offered plenty of must-sees, with Oct. 18, 2020’s battle against Atlanta at the forefront. Setting the tone as only he can, Jefferson got the Vikings on the board, showcasing determination on a stretch-past-the-goal-line touchdown with a defender draped over his torso. A few drives later, No. 18 was back at it, leaving the Falcons in the dust behind on a 49-yard score that turned an already-incredible afternoon into something signature. In a high-scoring 40-23 defeat, Jefferson closed with nine receptions, 166 yards, and two touchdowns, earning Rookie of the Week honors.
