Detroit’s 52-21 win over Chicago became noteworthy through memorable plays from every offensive Pro Bowler, and thus, it wasn’t long before Sam LaPorta and Jahmyr Gibbs made cameos, the latter of which using blink-and-miss-it speed on a six-yard scoring stretch run. The five-play, 60-yard drive became prophetic, as the Lions routinely used big plays thereafter, tying for the franchise’s second-most single-game points.
