It isn’t often that a first-year defender finds a way to lead his team in Super Bowl tackles, but as 2025’s season often showed, New England’s Craig Woodson simply isn’t your average rookie. Very few defenders could stop the soon-to-be Super Bowl Most Valuable Player, but Woodson stood among the capable few, wrapping up Seattle’s star running back for a two-yard TFL. The NFL’s grandest stage wasn’t too bright for the Patriots’ fourth-round gem, as he starred the box score through a 10-tackle showcase (including three TFLs), bolstered by two pass breakups during the 29-13 loss to the Seahawks on Feb. 8, 2026.
