In what ultimately became a preview of that season’s NFC Championship Game, Arizona’s Kurt Warner used Nov. 27, 2008 to show Philadelphia that multi-touchdown games were going to be a pattern of things to come. Hoping to dig the Cardinals out of a late-game, three-possession deficit, Warner turned to a Hall of Fame-bound connection, hitting his sure-handed receiver on a slant pattern for a seven-yard endzone find. The Eagles prevailed during the regular-season head-to-head, but despite a 48-20 loss, Warner was predictably noteworthy on the box score, totalling 235 yards (on 21-of-39) and a trio of touchdown passes.
