Snow games aren’t something one would often associate with the Dolphins and Cowboys, and thus, perhaps it only made sense for Nov. 25, 1993’s finish to also be something almost-unheard-of. Offered a second chance at becoming the evening’s hero after Dallas’ late-game hiccup, Pete Stoyanovich authored one of NFL history’s most memorable “Turkey Day” games with a 19-yard field goal that temporarily gave Miami the league’s best record. With the pressure heating up — ironically, in the coldest game inside the Cowboys’ stadium to date — Stoyanovich scored the game’s final nine points, kicks that proved crucial in securing a 16-14 win.
