Compile a list of the NFL’s most entertaining play types, and it’s unlikely that few will rank as highly as a good ‘ol fashioned Kyler Murray scramble. As elusive as it gets during off-platform, improvisational situations, Arizona’s star quarterback put forth some “Murray Magic” during the fourth quarter, escaping a maze of Panthers defenders before turning on the turbos for a 30-yard carry. Murray’s play, fittingly, helped the Cardinals play keepaway on the scoreboards, as they survived Carolina’s late-game avalanche for a 27-22 win. Enjoying the benefits of a 2-0 open, Murray finished 17-of-25 for 220 yards and a touchdown, bolstered by seven carries for 32 additional yards.
