After being selected 11th overall in the 1999 NFL Draft, Vikings quarterback Daunte Culpepper made his first career start in Week 1 of the following season, and made sure it was worth the wait for the Minnesota faithful. Throwing for 190 yards in this one, Culpepper did the majority of his damage with his legs, running for 73 yards and three scores as he led the Vikings to a 30-27 win over the Bears to open the season on Sept. 3, 2000.
