After missing the previous season due to injury, it didn't take long for Saints defensive lineman Joe Johnson to emphatically announce to the league that he was back and ready to disrupt opposing offenses. In Week 3 of the 2000 season, Johnson broke into the backfield on two separate occasions to chase down the quarterback and bring him down for a sack. Though New Orleans would lose this Sept. 7, 2000 matchup against the Seahawks, 20-10, Johnson's two-sack day kickstarted one of the best statistical seasons of his career, for which he won the Comeback Player of the Year award.
