In a season in which he won his second Defensive Player of the Year award and was named 1st-Team All-Pro for the third consecutive year, legendary Steelers defensive lineman 'Mean' Joe Greene saved some of his best for Super Bowl IX. On this play, Greene intelligently tracked down this pass after it was batted high into the air and hauled it in for a critical third-quarter interception. In addition to the interception, Greene also recovered a fumble in this one, and led the Pittsburgh defense in a dominant 16-6 win over the Minnesota Vikings on Jan. 12, 1975, which gave Greene his first of four Super Bowl titles with the Steelers.
